It looks like from the pictures that the O2 sensor is not installed.
When you say they made a "replacement plug for the O2 sensor" what do
you mean?
They install it somewhere else in the exhaust?
They made a jumper / blank electrical plug to unplug the O2 sensor?
It was my understanding the EFI system depended on the O2 sensor (along
with other sensors) in the exhaust stream to control the EFI. Without
any O2 sensor how does the EFI operate?
forget about the technicality of 'swirl room'

Renegade are located in the South East of England, not far from London

very close to Brands Hatch race circuit.

The manufactured a replacement plug for the O2 sensor.

Yes - access to the oil filter is as before.
