I assume you have a block of wood or something similar to keep the pistons
from pushing out too far. Tilt the caliper side to side while whacking it
with a rubber mallet to dislodge the remaining bubbles. It is a bitch to
get all the air out, but it's the price you have to pay for having brakes
this good.

Subject: bleeding the brakes

Folks,

Need a little advice here. A few weeks ago I bled all the hydraulics.
Accidentally sucked air into the front brake master cylinder. I am having a
heck of a time getting that last little air bubble out. I've got
speedbleeders that appear to be functioning. I've unbolted the caliper and
tipped it so the valve is the highest point. I've gone through 2 bottles of
hydraulic fluid without positive results. What are my next steps?

Thanks, Steve

PS - When Shawn was over I did compare the feel of his brakes to assure my
expectations weren't too high for my GTS.

PSS - SA comments welcome!
