As has already been noted, it depends. Mine doesn't suffer from that symptom as such. However, it can be a bit 'hair-triggered'. While the EFI works fairly well, and provides excellent fuel milage, it can be a bit 'thin-edged'. What I mean is, the smallest input from the rider at the throttle will instantly be passed on to the engine. This can be unsettling or unnerving, particulary if you are not expecting it. Once you get used to it, it's really not an issue. Should it be better? Sure. Will there ever be a fix for it? Probably not, unfortunately, but research marches on. I think there is a least a dozen guys checking on CPU's/ICU's, whatever, in their search for the 'fix'. However, and nonetheless, all motorcycles, nay, most things of a 'technical' make, ie; cars, computers, cell phones, S.O.'s, etc... tend to have little quirks and idiosyncrasies that either you have to live with, replace or do without. Few things ever work exactly as designed or are 'touted' to do. So....as most of us really like our bikes, we 'work' around it. We are experts at 'feathering' the clutch and the throttle as parking lot speeds. (Ask how many of us have 'tipped' over due to poor low speed throttle response!). You learn, you adjust, you ride. And you get to enjoy one of the smoothest, quietest, and VERY unique motorcycles ever mass produced. (We don't know if your single or not, but it IS a babe magnet. Ask Shawn. ;^) Brandon "The Waxer" Philosophic
