I used Zerex, a valvoline product. I thought it was non-silicate, but looking at their website it is actually low-silicate. So, I will be picking up some non-silicate antifreeze and some distilled water on my way home from work. Silicate, ie sand, keeps the inside of the coolant passageways nice and clean, but as I found out can cause a failure of the waterpump seal. I found a bunch of articles about coolant at this site: http://www.angelfire.com/ia2/vmax/coolantnotes.htm
