Thor To answer your questions .... 1 - The lower fairing remains in place! As you say, they were just removed for the photos. The new downpipes are a tight fit (obviously!) and I've used a few well placed strips of heat shield to protect my lower fairing.
2 - I can confirm that the CAT is no longer part of the system. Renegade manufactured and alternative collector box, and retained the O2 sensor. I've been away on family vacation (bike NOT allowed!) and having got on the bike again all my early impressions have been re-inforced. The power, delivery and sound are WONDERFUL! Robin.
