I realized, after being hung up on several occasions by pac bell and other utilities that frustrate me beyond self-control, that blowing up with expletives can leave you disconnected. So, I incorporated that technique with telemarketers. I just try to get my request in to have me removed from their lists on their database early on, so that the more I cuss, the quicker they leave me alone, and the more apt they are to actually submit my name for removal from their databases. Seems to be working. Calls are diminishing. The worst, however, are the computers that are seeking an answering machine, and just hang up on you after you run loops to get to the phone. Doesn't give me a chance to get to my game plan.
