Finally got to the troublesome front end squeak....Thanks to Kevin Hawkins detailed procedure and Rob Chapmans advice to "Save this message" all was going great with the exception of a few choice words until I pulled the bolt on the left side ( sitting in front of bike looking at the headlight) when S#!$ ,lets just say that the bearings came out easier with a bit of compressed air, you got it , powder. My question is what is the procedure to correct and what do I need to order to replace this (these) parts to get "Rosie" back in the fast lane. I remember reading not long ago that someone else had dust for bearings in the same place. I have the fiche available so I have an idea of what I need but not sure what is absolutely necessary. The local Yamaha shop is of little help do to the young age of the staff and the scarcity of these fine machines, besides it's Sunday and all the bike shops are closed!
