02NR24 - Co-Sponsors Needed for Barcia Act to Fight EPA Proposed Rule

THIS MAY BE THE MOST IMPORTANT CALL TO ACTION EVER ISSUED TO THE AMERICAN
MOTORCYCLISTS' RIGHTS MOVEMENT!

U.S. Representative James Barcia (D-Michigan) is introducing
the "Motorcycle and Motorcycling Small Business Protection Act." This
legislative initiative will establish a reasonable emissions standard for
street motorcycles that safeguards the thousands of small businesses
threatened by the EPA's proposed rulemaking. This Act will also increase
motorcycling in America and thereby reduce fuel consumption, traffic
congestion and air pollution. You can view the Motorcycle and Motorcycling
Small Business Protection Act by visiting the MRF website at
www.mrf.org/epalegislation.php.

The Barcia Act safeguards jobs and protects motorcycling in America. YOUR
CONGRESSMAN'S NAME BELONGS ON THAT BILL! Call your Congressman TODAY! You
can find your Congressman's phone number at
http://clerk.house.gov/members/index.php. Urge your Congressman to sign on
as an original co-sponsor of the Motorcycle and Motorcycling Small Business
Protection Act. Your Congressman can do so by calling Congressman Barcia
and asking him to add him/her to this bill as an original co-sponsor.

A long-standing MRF Champion of Motorcyclists' Rights & Safety, Congressman
Barcia plans to introduce his bill on Tuesday, September 24, WITH AS MANY
ORIGINAL CO-SPONSORS AS CAN BE GENERATED BY YOU, the leaders of the
motorcyclists' rights movement in America.
