Wow, that is a really silly mistake.. -----Original Message----- From: Doug [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, September 23, 2002 4:09 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: new tire
Well, I got the new tire on. Rides a lot smoother. In fact, it rides A LOT smoother. Granted, I've only owned this bike for a few weeks, but I discovered today that whoever installed the front wheel (perhaps the previous owner's mechanic?) put the lug nuts on backwards so the bevels weren't going into the sleeves. Yep...rides a lot smoother. It may still need a little adjustment on the camber. Has anyone done this? Any hints to previous threads on the digest that covers this topic? -- -Doug Kirk '93 GTS /// The information contained in this e-mail including any attachments may constitute Corvis Corporation Proprietary Information that is subject to Non-Disclosure Agreement and cannot be disclosed to any other party without the express consent of Corvis Corporation.
