Denver Area GTSers. We all know that it snows by Halloween (or should) which means our cycle-season is drawing to a close...so lets close it out right.
Sept. 29th....THIS UPCOMING SUNDAY. 2 route / trips possible. 285 to fairplay, Hwy 9 to Breckenridge/Dillion, I-70 to GeorgeTown, Georgetown Frontage road down to Idaho Springs, I-70 down HWY 6 West into golden. Golden to home.--3-4hr ride. OR 285 to Fairplay, South on Hwy 9 to Johnson's Village, Hwy 24 south to 291, South to Salida (LUNCH),Hwy 50 East to Texas Creek South on Hwy 69 to Walensburg, North on 1-25 through Pueblo, C.Springs and Denver. (LONG DISTANCE) ***This route will take us on the East Side of the Sangre De Cristo Range! BEAUTIFUL.--maybe a 7-8 hour ride. I am thinking of leaving around 9:00. MEET at RedRocks Exit (1st Exit west of C-470) on 285 (south) LEAVE EXIT at 9:30 sharp. LET ME KNOW...SOON! THOR
