1300 is one long day or two reasonable ones. Heck, find a couple
hundred more & get a combination saddlesore/bunn burner.

How many GTS's could we get into the Iron Butt Assoc. in one get
together?

Then your just beyond the Mid-west, where as those of us who are west of
the Rockies, are considered west, and covers a hell of lot of distance.
Just 1300+ miles from seattle to denver, and there are a few seattle
GTS's, and the folk in the Bay areas ride is just a little shorter. My
last trip to denver ended up at 3500 miles in 9 days of riding and a few
to relax.

Yes it easier to get Europeans together by distance, but we my have
enough on the west coast to meet at say Fort Bragg, and save us all a
lot of hot, flat riding. A nationl get together is great, but if we are
serious about the numbers, there might be a better way.

off the soapbox...
