Just finished mounting up my new Renegade pipe. Still got the plasics to put
back on (had to pull the gas tank to reroute the oxygen sensor) but I took
it for a quick spin around the neighborhood. Hehehehe....me likes, me likes
very much. Thanks Robin, U Rule!
Got the full race pipe. Yes, definitely louder than stock, but not
obnoxious. Deep throaty sound on idle. No low-end torque loss. Gain if
anything(seat of da pants dyno mind you). Was gonna take pics of the
install, but I got lazy. Just hold your pinky up next to your thumb and
you'll have a fairly good representation of the diff between the stock
header pipes (pinky) and the Renegade header pipes (thumb). My stock dyno
run is up on Baroonie's website, will be making a trip back to the dyno
sometime for the Renegade run. I might have to replace the clutch first
though, it slipped a bit when I was hard on the gas. Doing a 500 mile day
ride on Saturday for the full evaluation ;-)))
