Don't remember RX7 specificly, but do remember Mazda. Yes, several have
local tire shops spin balance them. I've never had a problem with my
local dealer mounting and static balancing any tires on mine...Bob B.

I seem to recall that someone on the list said that the front wheel is
the
same size as the wheels on an RX7.  As such, it can be spin-balanced at
the
local tire shop.  Do you recall the same?

Why not? Effectively all it does is provide a positve center of the
wheel
for you. The factory Yamaha balancer came with bearings that are too
small
to fit the spin balancer we have, so static is the only option. Perhaps
that
is precisely why they have bearings in it, so you can static balance it.
