You guys have some of the facts wrong. I was the one that found out about
the Mazda connection, so let me put the facts out there:

The wheel weights for the 93 RX7 will work on the GTS front wheel. They
are almost an exact match, and the difference is so subtle as to be within
the margin of manufacturing error.
Yamaha wheel weights are very very costly, from $5 each to $10 each
depending on size. However, they are high quality pieces with good epoxy (or
similar) coating. But the RX7's are fine too. There is a major aftermarket
maker for those weights, I did not get them from Mazda, rather they were in
stock at a local Goodyear tire center. Make sure that they are COATED wheel
weights suitible for aluminum wheels.

As for the center cone for balancing, I am not aware that it was any
special part. It just happened to be with the collection of adapters for
the Hunter spin balancer. Yamaha has a special part, but the adapter for
the Hunter machine was just part of the collection.

When spin balancing, make sure that the concave side points towards the
machine. If it is reversed, you will get wheel so out of balance that you
will fear the front will break off at high speed. The manual says to only
put weights on the convex side, but in practice this does not appear
required, and you will get a better balance using both sides.
