I like your ideas Bob & Joe.  Man, if somebody comes all the way from another
continent just to be with all us Hooligans, they should automatically get an
award.  And, even though I'm not likely to be the one, I think the person who
rides (the GTS of course) the farthest should get an award also.  Nothing
expensive or classy....maybe a framed picture of them with the local police
force expressing their opinion on his ride.  Of course time (duration) would
also have to be factored in, just so that the semi-retired types out there
don't take an extended holiday just before the rally.

PS.  How's this for a LD ride.  Some of the guys I ride with each spring to
Hyder, Alaska are talking about putting on a ride from Hyder, Arizona to Hyder,
Alaska.  2500 miles in 2-2.5 days.  I know this isn't much for John, but it's a
sizeable feat just the same.
