I've been at 145.... granted the GTS is not a Hayabusa, but regardless of what you're
on, that's a hell of a lot of wind pressure just begging to flip ya over backwards if
both those wheels aren't firmly planted..... but then, I have been accused of being
too practical every now and then.......

I have seen Hayabusa's pop wheelies at 70-80, but they generally just ride
them at that speed, maybe up to 90.

But 150 mph ? Hard to believe, but perhaps it is possible.

Hey Guys, just got a call on my voice mail from a
friend that rides a 2000 Hyabusa slightly modified
with chip and Yosh pipes. He's been practicing
wheeles and now says he's gotten quite good at it.
He claims he pulls the front end up at 80mph and
keeps it up in the air till 150. At 150 he "gently"
brings her down to the ground at around 80mph.
This guy's always been a bit of a BSer, but he is a
good rider at high speeds. Can I believe this story
of 150mph wheeles, or is this just another tall tale?
