Ouch on the beer agreement, I guess I better work to be at the rally!

Thank you Robert for the CD! I loved the GTS commercial! I'm thinking the
guys that made it watched Buckaroo Banzai a few too many times.

Hey Pete, I've been thinking about your friend's fish story.

First, I ask you, does the Hayabusa have it's speedometer hooked to the
rear wheel? Does he have a witness in a chase vehicle doing 150mph? Tach
calculations?

While I firmly believe that forces can be counteracted to find balance in a
wheelie. I'm thinking that at higher speeds the aerodynamic force would
have to be counteracted by decelleration or a lower angle to the wheelie.
The speeds would be dictated by the drag of the bike and rider and the
angle, but there must be a sort of terminal velocity for wheelies. (Of
course if a wheelie goes bad at 150, it probably will be terminal.) I'm
thinking if you go beyond the tv-curve, the aerodynamic forces dump you on
your ass.

After having said all that, I think maybe your friend's story is possible,
but do you think he can show you? For that matter do you really want to
see it?

Welcome back, I just know this means you're working the logistics
of getting to Frisco, CO. on the June 20, 2003 weekend, because if
you read the fine print when you resubscribed, you'll see that you
agreed to come to the rally OR supply all the beer for the rally .
