We call petrol gasoline, or gas for short. We cook with gas. We have gas
come out of our arse.
Having a good experience doing something ? Then "it's a gas !" (sort of
dated or retro expresion).
We park on a driveway, and drive on a parkway.

  English is a wonderfull language.

were the plug ends , black and wet ? black and sooty ? brown ? light brown ?
