As far as top gear roll ons and 600s.......... yes, they are, so what? 600's
in top gear are at less than 50% of their usable RPM range and well below
their usable HP and torque range........ Considering most 600s make more HP
and weigh 100+ pounds less than a GTS, be fair and calculate the percentage
of RPM @ 60 MPH of red line on the GTS and let a 600 start at that same
percentage of redline....... Prepare to get dusted by a 600. Got to compare
apples to apples when you thinking about these things..... I fully realize
that if you are cruising on the interstate at 60 and need to pass a car you
can do it more quickly on a GTS without downshifting than a 600. 600s start
pulling really hard at about 10,000 rpm and make usable power up to 15,500 or
so (R-6). I would hope a bike that has 2/3 more displacement would have some
advantage somewhere over the smaller bike, wouldn't you?
