Interesting... That's a lot faster than the magazines posted top speed for
the GTS. 150 mph is close to the posted top speeds for the FJR1300 and that
bike has ~30 more HP. My mechanical engineering mind tells me something is
amiss since power to overcome drag goes up approximately with the cube of
velocity.

Bill, that figures to 141 mph. The GTS was still
pulling  strong, so I figure it will pull an honest
150... which is about 5 mph faster than I originally
thought. BTW the bike is 100% stock. I'm impressed.
And with that I shall retire.
