Doug, Givi doesn't sell direct, they sell through dealers and the pricing is pretty much fixed from what I've see. Call your local dealer and see if they sell Givi products if you're looking for a new one. If you have a problem finding a local dealer let me know, Givi is located here in Charlotte and I'll be glad to call them if you like to find a good dealer in your area, but southern California shouldn't be a problem.
