I used to always put my nose up to Michelin until I got them for my
F-150. I liked them so well, I actually decided to use them on my Honda
900RR. I got the Pilot Sport 180/60 and matched the front with another MPS.

My GTS came with Bridgestones, which have worked pretty well, but the
first tire replacement in the front got the Michelin Macadam 90x. These
ARE actually Z rated -- at 168mph. I've only done 130 to date, so I'm
not sure how they handle after that, but I'm sure they're true to specs.
The rear is about due for a replacement (actually flat at the moment
after a couple of hard rides), and it's gunna get the Macadam or Sport
as well. Good grip, good wear, good price, good reason to go with them.

Well...yes its that time again....after a frustrating finishing nail....its time to get new

Ive decided to make the jump to 120/70 and 180/55.

Now my question.
Those of you who are running the Macadam 100X, I noticed they don't have the "Z" :
(149+mph) rating? Which at first glance is a bit of a worry....what is the X-rating?

Has anyone tried out the Michelin Pilot Road, or the Pilot Sport Tires? Both are Z
rated.

Ive read alot of great reviews about the Pilot Sport Tires, but I have a feeling they will
wear very quickly for our "heavy" bike.

I am leaning towards the Pilot Road/Pilot Sport--is anyone currently running these?
