Go to your profile at http://beta.guadec.org/user/ , click on "Edit" and have a look to the fields in your personal profile, GNOME and GUADEC's.
I haven't even finished a first version but I need to go now. Once this is finished and users fill their profile we can offer listings like users that attended GUADEC'2005, users planning to come to GUADEC 2006 and a lot more.
