Cool, I like it :)
Also, first version of the back: http://guadec.org/files/Tras_RC1.jpg
Perhaps the GUADEC logo bigger, on the top of The GNOME Conference.
I would also suggest losing the brackets/parentheses around
"Catalonia - Spain"... too much punctuation going on that line
altogether! By putting the dates before the month, you can lose the
comma, too... e.g. you could just have:
24-30 June 2006 * Vilanova * Catalonia * Spain
or maybe
24-30 June 2006 * Vilanova * Catalonia, Spain
There will be some changes in the sponsors' logos (Igalia changes
logo,
and 3-4 more come in) but the structure is the one suggested. Anyway,
they will have the chance to comment this back.
As a matter of interest, did you try inverting the pyramid (i.e. have
the widest row at the top, and the cornerstone sponsor at the
bottom)? I think that would give a more balanced shape to the whole
thing, with the GUADEC header being as wide as it is. Might be a bit
controversial, but provided the cornerstone/gold sponsor logos were
proportionately bigger than the silver sponsors and other partners, I
don't see how they could complain :)
Cheeri,
Calum.
