The problem for me is getting gear onthe plane. I have amixer suitable
for this, but my baggage allowance won't allow it, and its too big. I
could get the mics in no problem, but the mixer and stands are a
problem.

I don't want it to cost you guys too much, you have already been great
in sponsoring us to come over. I do have a very small, noddy mixing
desk that I can fit in as a bare minimum, but it has 1/4" jacks and
would require XLR->1/4" converters to work. If you cannot source a
mixing desk over the next couple of days, I can always bring that.
