In such cases, it may be requested to bring a PDF version of the presentation. Evince require less resources and the result will be the same. Anyway, other years some speakers has asked a friend or another developer. I'm sure it can be arranged. The only (funny) problem is to deal with other keyboards layout. But it shouldn't be a laptop after all.
