I waited a bit to get as much replies as possible. 11 students said they'd like to get to GUADEC. Two of them have talks so will likely get sponsored, and seven/eight would like to be sponsored. But some of them are living in North/South America. Hope that helps you to get a rough idea of who will ask for sponsorship.
