Google turned up this link, ironically for a different conference. Looks somewhat useful. http://icdea.bahcesehir.edu.tr/links.htm I think there is a ferry that runs from Eminonu to Besiktas that we will be able to take to the university. It's a nice place run by nice people and the more people we have going to Bahcesehir from Sultanahmet, the more options we will have available to us on a daily basis. So if you haven't booked yet, consider looking them up - they are very cheap and it is ideal if you can't afford the Golden Horn.
