Another idea: fundraising run! You have to raise minimum 50 euros before the event to register! :D Funds go to foundation needless to say.
At my school we did something similar, we looked for donors who would give us a certain amount per kilometer, then we got a small paper where we get a stamp on checkpoint which were situated around 1 km of distance, finally we had to go to the donors and ask them for money.
