We currently have 2 slots of 45 minutes for lightning talks, so that's 90 minutes or 18 talks basically. I think we should just see how many lightning talks get proposed anyway, and go from there. If we get 50 or 100, we need to select indeed, and then I think its mostly on relevance and 'hotness'.
