I just set up the first stab at an automatic way to get test builds of our apps based on FDroid. Testing is an extremely valuable contribution to the process of making good software, so we want to make that process as easy and private as possible. The combination of FDroid an this feed will make it very easy to upgrade to the latest builds from our build server right as they are produced.
To use our new test build service, first install FDroid by downloading it from the official source: https://f-droid.org * https://dev.guardianproject.info/fdroid/repo You can also use our test repo via an anonymized connection using the Tor Hidden Service (as of this moment, that means downloading an official FDroid v0.69 test build: * https://f-droid.org/repo/org.fdroid.fdroid_690.apk Then here is the repo URL: * http://k6e4p7yji2rioxbm.onion/fdroid/repo There is more detail and QRCodes for easy setup here: https://guardianproject.info/2014/06/06/automatic-private-distribution-of-our-test-builds/ For those who like to check key fingerprints instead of just trusting the key on first use, this repo's signing key is: F8ED4C73C125E7A67F99DB269480DAF50BE1758952E07EE5ABF116FE4B2DB1E8 .hc -- PGP fingerprint: 5E61 C878 0F86 295C E17D 8677 9F0F E587 374B BE81
