Also, apparently the US Dept of Homeland Security has sponsored a testing service called SWAMP. It is based on cppcheck, findbugs and others. cppcheck and findbugs are in Debian and Ubuntu, and have Jenkins plugins. cppcheck has already caught a number of notable issues in our own project and GnuPG. I haven't tried findbugs, its for Java code.
