It's cool to be able to post a persistent message, but I still think
there needs to be some way to restore the device name. People who
don't understand how the hack works may get a nasty surprise if they
find they're still broadcasting their last message days later, when
they're in another context.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to playing with it! Public broadcast
doesn't fit with Briar's threat model, but I think the apps could
complement each other well.

Actually there's another project that could benefit from this too:
aDTN. Ana Barroso started the project at the last Circumvention Tech
Summit, but it stalled because we couldn't find a way to broadcast
small packets of data from unrooted devices. Maybe the Bluetooth
device name is the way to go.
