Now, as for the switch to ch.boye entirely, this was something I discussed with Mozilla. Since they were including the lib anyway, they thought that migrating to it was a good idea. My initial idea to this was to wait until [1] was resolved so that we could move to the official apache supported lib. And it looks like it is! Refer [1] & [2]. I should notify Mozilla of this development and try to get the entire project shifted to this, they would definitely like it.
