Yes, agreed. I think I meant that through this point:

Overall, we've been lucky that Tor is as well-behaved as it is, with the
default configuration. If there is no usage, Tor will tear down
circuits, and idle in the background. However, in some cases, there is
still too much data usage overall, especially for people on
pay-as-you-go plans. 

We can log more data and build a better user interface for viewing and
exporting that data in the app itself.

Yes, that isn't the best page in the world. We are in severe need of a
person just focused on our public facing content.

but I completely agree that spending time writing a clear spec,
especially as we lay out this new roadmap, makes a great deal of sense.
