Greetings, This is my first time posting to this list, as per _hc 's recommendation. I saw Nathan Freitas' write-up in LWN, and showed up earlier this month about a similar project I've been working on as well. In essence, I've combined Tor Hidden Services, Node-Red, Mosquitto MQTT broker, and Arduino/MySensors stack. It provides a secure, ubiquitous, and private IoT cloud of only your machines (well... aside the Tor gateways, thank the internets for those people!). I told Nathan that I would let him know when my documentation was complete, and now it is. I also figure that quite a few other people could expand on my works, make something awesome out of this.
