I was wondering if anyone in GUBUG would be interested in doing a presentation this semester for the UUG. We're currently trying to figure out our schedule for the rest of this semester, and have an opening for the first thursday of february, and an opening in the 3rd thursday of march. Since i've gotten interested in FreeBSD, I thought it might be something that someone here might be interested in presenting on :)
Details: Meetings start at 7:30 pm. they generally go about an hour or hour.5. Number of people generally ranges based on all types of issues including midterms, projects, etc. We're thinking a pretty general meeting, discussing some differences/similarities between Linux and *BSD (probably a focus on FreeBSD?), along with some ideas on what you think the best features of BSD are. Tips and suggestions are always welcome... :) Technical information is also interesting to many. If any of you were at the PLUG meeting on FreeBSD, it was kind of like what I was thinking woul be cool to do with UUG. :) Anyway, if you're interested, feel free to let me know (and include which day you'd be interested in and what exactly you'd be interested in covering) :) Thanks, ~Erin --- http://www.tuxgirl.com _______________________________________________ gubug mailing list [email protected] https://gubug.org/mailman/listinfo/gubug
