Capaz que tengas razón, de no querer utilizar .net, pero
nuestra realidad la escribe MICROCHOT , y nos obliga a hacer lo que él
quiere guste o no, es un simple negocio, con FOX no podía seguir ganando
mucho mas $$$$$$$$$, por eso había que re-inventar la rueda, para seguir
facturado, y si queremos seguir nosotros (Por los Foxeros) en negocio, (a
menos que estemos cerca de Jubilarte), tenes que adaptarte a nuevas
tecnología si no queremos queda afuera, no te olvides que las niñas bonita
de ahora es JAVA Y .NET, el resto parecería que no existiese.-
Tratar de recuperar y/o adquirir los derechos de VFP para
seguirlo, me parece que es imposible, porque seguirá en contra del negocio
propio de MS, además seria postergar la AGONIA UN POCO MAS
.

Pero Martín, lo que se me ocurre es que no tuvo éxito entre la comunidad
foxera el compilador a .net (nótense las minúsculas) porque la comunidad
foxera simplemente NO QUIERE TRABAJAR CON .net... (eso me pasa a mí, al
menos) entonces, la verdad es que ni lo miré (¿está relacionado con aquella
nota que hiciste una vez para la UT?)
En fin, me voy a tomar mi sopita caliente...

Nono, ahí tiene un buen ejemplo: de todos los que pidieron que se liberen
las fuentes de VFP para que "la comunidad" se haga cargo, ¿cuántos probaron
al menos el producto de Samuel David y cia? ¿Cuántos lo compraron???
Y el compilador que ellos hicieron es desde muchos puntos de vista mucho más
ambicioso que un VFP comunitario. Es un compilador a .NET y extensiones
para usar todo el framework y las Class Libraries desde código VFP.
De nuevo ¿cuántos realmente le dedicaron tiempo? Ni hablemos de dinero...
