Status in “gui-ufw” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Running Ubuntu 8.04 64-bit on an Intel Core 2 Duo Processor. I cannot log in to AIM or Yahoo! messanger using Pidgin if gui-ufw isn't open. Please note, I have no rules set in my firewall for any of these. Gui-ufw is simply an interface and opening it should not effect the operation of the firewall. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install Pidgin 2. Install GUFW 3. Use Pidgin to log into AIM or Yahoo! messanger (connection will not be made) 4. Open GUFW 5.
