Hi! Yes, don't worry, it's easy, you can disable the firewall with this: Open
Terminal in Applications/Accesories/Terminal and run this command:
sudo ufw disable
Gufw must not freeze... *-) Did you download the correct version for your
Ubuntu? Download the correct version here if you want :)

Gufw 9.10 for Ubuntu 9.10
