Hi, I ran Mint 8 Live in a VM, launched gufw from the terminal, clicked the Enable button.
Result: - no trace in terminal - enabled (green logo and all) - no rules appear in the GUI (seems to work as expected). Then running "sudo ufw status verbose", it simply says that the default is to deny all incoming and to allow all outgoing. Seems ok to me.
