Public bug reported:

You can not see the buttons to choose anything when I launched it in
xubuntu 11.10... I had to guess at the buttons to figure out which one
allowed me to enable it. It is just circles crossed out.

New xubuntu with all updates as of today.

I noticed this in .xsession errors:
(gufw.py:3028): Gtk-WARNING **: Theme parsing error: gtk.css:2:44: Failed to
import: Error opening file: No such file or directory

** Affects: gui-ufw
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
