hi Luke,

if you want to enable gufw on systemstart, then you need to click on
this little lock-emblem in the right down corner of the main-window of
gufw to unlock this window.

Then you have to set your preferences.

And in the third step, you have to put gufw into the startprograms of
your Ubuntu. Therefore go to you menu and there in others, there should
be a button: startprograms. Klick this and insert gufw (set the right
command, set the description and then choose the icon for it.

That's just all.
