Public bug reported: Profiles that are shipped on the system (Ie not written by users), through packages installation, are considered to be "trusted profiles". These should be listed part of the known applications (though "Services" would be more suitable here).
This bug related to the blueprint "more service supported", and is seconding Tim's idea: https://blueprints.launchpad.net/gui-ufw/+spec/more-service-supported That is: - ensure that packages ships profile in /etc/ufw/applications.d, - only display known *and* installed profiles in combo, - work-around the "10 max entries in a combo box" issue by adding a "more..." entry as 10th element (if needed). Selecting more could then open a dialog box. ** Affects: gui-ufw Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Gufw Developers, which is subscribed to Gufw. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/963871 Title: gufw does not consider /etc/ufw/applications.d entries Status in Gufw: New Bug description: Profiles that are shipped on the system (Ie not written by users), through packages installation, are considered to be "trusted profiles".
