I have problem accessing a shared folder on my Ubuntu from my Android phone. I tried adding the IP address of my android device.. but when ever I reconnect my phone to the wifi it's choosing some random IP address so I can't access the shared folder.. since the firewall is enabled and blocking that connection. I have to turn off the firewall for that session to establish a connection. So I thought is it possible for me to add the MAC address in the firewall rules instead of IP address.
