reads «Why is disabled by default?».
Reading the next string («By default, the firewall does not open ports to the
outside world.») I assume that it refers to the firewall or Gufw. I am not a
native English speaker, but «Why is _it_ disabled by default?» (with «it»)
sounds more natural to me. «Why is the firewall/Gufw disabled by default?»
would possibly be even better.
