Australia to Cambodia* Dan Cruickshank's informative travelogue continues with erotic cave paintings in the Australian outback, the grisly rituals of an Indonesian funeral, an ornate Thai heirloom and the majestic temples of Angkor in Cambodia. *04. Turkey to Germany* Dan Cruickshank takes to the skies before heading below the ground, floating above Turkey in a hot air balloon and then exploring , its subterranean caves. Plus a trip to Poland and the chance to salvage something from the wreckage of Nazi Germany in Berlin. *10. Bosnia to Germany and Home* The rebuilt bridge in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina, which spans the Christian and Muslim worlds, and the Parthenon of Ancient Greece are both stops on the last leg of the voyage. Italy provides a veritable treasure trove, including Rome's Pantheon and the Florentine chapel of the Medici princes. And there's a chance to reflect on the journey.
