A new interface project: can you help?

Dear Rich,
        I am a member of a group of computer science student doing their
graduation project. Well to cut short the main goal of the project is to
do some enhancements on Apache web server including creating a GUI. We
didn't start anything yet but studying the server's code and
configuration files. Would you please help us by sending any comments,
major needs, how to register in your page and any other means of help u
might offer.
