Just to let you know: I've been working on this over the past weeks and I'm getting to something nice. Hopefully, I'll post a status summary next week or so to this list. BTW, I think you forgot to mention Guile-VM which I started to revive some time ago but haven't been able to work on lately. So that might count as a nice SOC project as well (you can search the archives for details and code pointers).
