GEE/UUID version 0.4b0 is available. <http://gna.org/projects/gee> <http://www.ossp.org>
This version is tested with Guile 1.8.3 and OSSP/UUID 1.4.2. GEE/UUID is a C language library extension for Guile, the GNU's Ubiquitous Intelligent Language for Extensions. It offers an interface to OSSP UUID, an ISO-C:1999 application programming interface for the generation of DCE 1.1, ISO/IEC 11578:1996 and RFC 4122 compliant Universally Unique Identifier (UUID). You can use GEE/UUID under the terms of the GNU General Public License version 2, or (at your option) any later version. UUID is: Copyright (c) 2004-2006 Ralf S. Engelschall <rse/engelschall.com> Copyright (c) 2004-2006 The OSSP Project UUID is distributed under a free software license. I propose Networking because UUIDs are meant to be unique in a distributed environment. <DT><B><A HREF="http://gna.org/projects/gee">GEE/UUID</A></B> <DD><TABLE> <TR><TD><I>description</I></TD> <TD>Universally Unique Identifier (UUID) generator.</TD></TR> <TR><TD><I>license</I></TD> <TD>GPL 2, or later.</TD></TR> <TR><TD><I>requires</I></TD> <TD>Guile 1.8, <a href="http://www.ossp.org">UUID 1.4.2</a></TD></TR> </TABLE><P> -- Marco Maggi "Now feel the funk blast!"
